CSR & Policies

Omega Engineering Services (OES) are committed to achieving high standards within our corporate social responsibility policy (CSR).

Within our corporate social responsibility policy we believe that acting as a responsible business is fundamental to the way we operate.

This means that we consistently adhere to present and future legislation and compliance requirements.

Our attitude toward corporate social responsibility is integral to all our processes, whether in relation to our stakeholders, staff, suppliers, candidates or customers.

What we do

We operate a corporate social responsibility policy of integrity; convictions that ensure the continued application of best practice in business and professional protocols. Like any business, what we do has an impact on the environment and therefore we do whatever we can to minimise this. We cut back our carbon footprint, using video conferencing wherever possible and recycling materials on a daily basis. In addition to this, Omega Engineering Services also support the Cycle to Work scheme.

We promote sustainable development by placing orders where possible with suppliers whose values sit well with ours.

In addition to this, we focus on getting the very best out of people, rewarding them fairly, treating them with dignity and providing them with greater levels of opportunity than they can achieve elsewhere. This philosophy starts at the top and is embedded in every aspect of the business.

Charity fundraising

We believe that as a company we have the power to work for good in the communities we serve and therefore we aim to act as a responsible business and to influence other businesses to act with integrity. We encourage our employees to make a difference, participating in local and national charity events. For example, the Macmillan Coffee Morning in aid of Cancer support, Newcastle to London bike ride, etc.

As a Group, we select a charity of the year and for 2017 we will be supporting Best for Ben and Emma Getvoldsen. For more information see our blog.
